We believe reading and writing are transformative experiences. Literature has the power to transform the way we see ourselves, the world, and our place in it. Accordingly, our mission is two-fold: to publish work that furthers our cultures' collective vision and to equip at-risk children with the language skills necessary to create literary art from their joy and their jeopardy. In short, Badgerdog was created to publish and to teach.
